Are you looking for a great hike to get the kids out? The Tolt-MacDonald trails are a great place for a hike with the kids and dog. Parking is easy and no pass is required. We went across the Tolt bridge and did the Cottonwood loop. It took us about an hour to do the loop and the 3 year old rocked it. After the hike we went over to the playground area and the kids had a fun time doing the treasure hunt finding the different animals on the playground equipment.
